She always love watching kKdramas during her leisure time as it helps her to relieve her stress and set standards on how she will define love and relationships. Her father's occupation is a tricycle driver and her mother is a housewife. And they all was bord as Methodist.

Carolene Yem Jonggay is from in a very humble beginning, her childhood experiences is like a colorful as a rainbow and as bright as the sunlight. She grew up in surrounded by a happy environment where its neighborhood is filled with jolly people. She is just a normal person before, were technologies does not exist yet, she was playing with her childhood friends in their town like tumbang preso, tago-tagoan, and the likes. During vacation she used to swim with her friends at the spring nearby and pick-some vegetables in the widerness for us to bring home, so that her parents wouldn't scold us afterwards. However, the best part of her childhood life is that, being raised with a very strict parent, where she were punished her when she had done something wrong, going back that time her mother sprank her if she didn't want to sleep during the daytime, and her father would be angry if she came home late from playing with her friends. However, that experienced would be the best for her, for living in a very beautiful atmosphere where technologies don't exist (yet) and there is no room for toxicity.

She was starting her studies in Belaza Castromayor Community Elementary schools located at Brgy. Crossing Rubber, Tupi, South Cotabato. She is graduated as the class validictorian. She continued her junior high school in Emiliano P. Baquial National High School under and graduated as with honors, and she transferred to South East Asian Institute of Technology, INC. to complete her Senior High School and she Graduated with high honors, and she acquired her Bachelor of Elementary Education degree at the same School, and graduated as Cum Laude. Upon looking back on her college journey, she experienced a serious problem when she was in 3rd year in college, she had encounter with her professor as it gave her a grade that disqualifies her application for Magna Cum Laude. This was happend during enrollment day when she found out and made her burst into tears while in a queue. The first thing that came to her mind is to ask that professor what the reason was, since as far she know, she passed all the requirements that her professor's mandated to us. She remember how the trempled while talking to her professor because for her it would be a big loss if that were to be her final grade. According to her professor, the reason why she gave her that grade and failed many of her classmates was because they let each other copy the answer during the examination. After their conversation, the only thing that she did was cry because, as for her professor it's official. However, through with this experienced she realized that there are things in life that's not meant for you, and there are many good ways to help you other people. Even though she is not graduated as Magna Cum Laude, but she know ahead of her is a sweet success waiting for the right and perfect timing for to access.

However, just like somebody else after Carolene was graduated she encountered serious problem that she didn't know how she can be able to solve it; she struggled with how she was able to get a job right after. Since she plan to take the board exam later, she did a lot of attempts to look for any temporary job but failed to get one. She also tried to apply online but didn't get any calls for updates. Months had passed, and she didn't have a job yet. As the eldest, she was having an existential crisis and kept questioning herself about what she lacked. It came to the point where she funds for application were already empty, and she finally decided to give up. She was very discouraged and insecure at the same time knowing that her batchmates already had a job. Pressure was with her along the way, and prayer has been her source of strength and courage to believe and wait in God's perfect timing. Fast forward: after much time of waiting, she didn't know that God was already using unexpected people in an unexpected way. She was hired as a government employee under the Provincial Government of South Cotabato. Along the way, she have realized that God will lead you to the path where He plans you to be. We just have to be patient and believe that everything will go smoothly because the desires of our heart will be possible, as what Isaiah 60:22 says, "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen." This Bible verse can help her to shape as what she is right now.

After that, Carolene's life was change, she was so happy because after a very long time of waiting for a job finally she found, and she was be able to provide with her family and now she can be able to give the life that her family's always dream of. And to all the youth out there, Carolene Yem Jonggay is a reminder that failures doesn't mean you give up on your dreams, Carolene was experienced having a tough time however, despite those challenges she overcome it by put it as her motivation to do better and to think optimistically instead of pessimistically, because we as human being we are all born in the world that full of challenges ang difficulties and through with it, we learn and grow. As what she have said, failures are part of progress. We can't be successful in life without experiencing it, as it serves as a stepping stone to take U-turns and try again. There's no reason for us to be afraid of it; instead, embrace it and take it as an opportunity for you to grow and learn. Just keep it going, be proud on yourself and just trust the process. God's has a perfect plan for you.
